THE OBJECTIVE

To create a more functional, livable and modern space where homeowners could find enjoyment in relaxing, entertaining, and spending time with their family, friends and two dogs.

HOW IT WAS ACHIEVED

The makeover provided the owners with exactly what they wanted; an exquisitely-detailed, modernized design which created the feeling of luxurious decadence. They took advantage of the opportunity the reno presented to upgrade their heating and electrical systems.

KEY FEATURES

Master bedroom suite redesign with minimalist style, geometric lines and natural materials inspire relaxation. The new ensuite is designed in soothing hues, with a hint of red along the vanity top and a tumbled pebble shower base.

Cherry veneer slab cabinetry and slim-profile, and stainless steel appliances create a functional, clutter-free kitchen. French doors added to redesigned wok kitchen, providing artistic detailing. Basement spare rooms were converted for the use of the family and their 4 large dogs.

Main floor powder room designed to contrast dark slate wall tile and flooring with light-stained maple millwork to create textured, visual depth in the small space. Asian-inspired vanity light introduced a red accent in an unexpected whimsical shape
