Now it's time to look beyond the framing and the roof! This home is now drywalled, taped and mudded — presenting you with a condensed project gallery worth exploring! For some, the renovation and design process can be intimidating.  This is why TQ Construction hosted a guided construction tour of this Ovation Award Finalist at the drywall stage this past July. This new custom home is a sprawling 3,000 sq. ft. rancher with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and key features highlighting. After finding the pre-existing 2 story house on the lot unsalvageable, TQ began demolition January 2017. Our client requested a new home that would allow family members to age-in-place. To satisfy this requirement, we developed a spacious single level rancher. This full feature home is topped with a modern metal pitched roof, insulated concrete form (ICF) poured walls, cedar siding, feng shui requirements and complex design elements such as 35 ft. truss spans. The new house was re-located to the center of the lot to improve privacy.
